Charlotte North Carolina Temple

Description

The Charlotte North Carolina Temple was announced in April 2023 by Pres. Russell M. Nelson as the second temple in the state. The location of the temple first announced soon after, but was updated to this spot in Mint Hill, NC, in March 2026. The temple is currently in the planning and approval phase. A groundbreaking date has not yet been announced. Plans call for a single-story design covering approximately 30, 000 square feet.
